Speaker Guidelines

Congratulations on being selected to present at Architecture Exchange East. We’ve assembled the following  information for ArchEx speakers to help ensure that both you and your audience enjoy an outstanding experience.

April 17    Request for Presentations Launches
May 15     Request for Presentations Deadline
Sept. 30   Finalize Travel Arrangements
Sept. 30   Complete Conference Registration
Oct. 28     Upload Presentation Materials and Handouts

Discounted rates for attendees and speakers have been secured at Hilton Downtown Richmond. Discounted rates at other nearby hotels can be found on our Accommodations page. Conference presenters are not paid nor reimbursed for travel/lodging expenses.

Please upload your presentation by Oct. 28. Your presentation(s) will be pre-loaded onto the conference computer located in your session room. We strongly recommend that you bring a backup of your presentation on a USB flash drive. Please indicate on the form if we are allowed to distribute these documents to attendees prior to the conference.

We are continually working toward a greener conference by limiting the amount of paper we use. With that in mind we are asking you to submit any handout files to us electronically.

We’ve created a presentation template for you – but we don’t want to box you in. Please feel free to use your own design.
